Day 5: A Euro Day...

 

What a day for all the European Teams. All the Nathooligans at least had 2 correct picks for wins, thats pretty cool! Sweden to pull this one out and getting a win makes this group very interesting for the Germans. There is an upward climb for the World Champs. Belgium had a hard time against Panama in the first half but eventually showed up. They look really dangerous if they play the way they played in second half. Now, England, since the "Hand of God" goal, England has not won an opening game at the world stage. They have always had extra pressure to perform well but have always choked. I find this year having one of the youngest teams compiled and having no pressure in the world cup, England has never looked this good. Finally, they got something right with giving confidence to a young team. We cant forget though its only one game. They have a lot to prove now that they have won their first game.
