France won their game in a commanding way and mostly because one of the threats from Uruguat wasn't there. Cavani totally changes the look of the team and he was definitely missed. Suarez made a solid effort but couldn't do everything by himself. What's become quite evident in this World Cup is that the team game wins you crucial games and not individual skill or talent. This showed in the France game and showed even more in the Belgium/Brazil game. Brazil heavily relied on Neymar and didn't play the team game. They are heavily loaded with skill and talent but did not effectively use their collective skill and talent to play as a team. They are now going home. Again. :)
On to predictions. England better play as a team and not overly rely on Kane and Alli.
