What.A.Day!! We really wish Eriksen's a speedy recovery. I have never in my life seen this happen live in front of my eyes. We have heard about the unfortunate demise of Antonio Puerta, the 22 year old who passed away after collapsing in a game. This was just gut wrenching. The fans cheering for Eriksen while they waited in the stadium, the medical officials responding so quickly, the referee making a very quick call on getting help right away. This is a wake-up call for everyone to all my friends and family who play sports for fun or at high-level to make sure you are healthy and making sure you are having regular checkups. We were quite surprised that the game was continued on the same day. After this incident, there is no way I would be mentally ready to play a sport at this high-level. Finland then wins by an upset!
Wales and Switzerland was an interesting game where the Swiss really could have won this game but their finishing was off and Wales got lucky to tie this game. Embolo really stood out to me in this game. He is a really strong and talented player. We will definitely being watching this guy when we watch Budesliga.
Belgium won the game as expected. Lukaku is looking really strong and the team in general is looking amazing.
CANADA WINS THEIR FIRST GAME FOR THE WORLD QUALIFIER AGAINST HAITI! And so the quest to the world cup continues.
And so Copa America starts today as well so we have a lot of games to watch today :)
