All the predictions by us were the opposite results. Deep down we did know that this will be the actual outcome but we were hoping the hockey gods would listen to us. The Argentina game was the most frustrating game I have watched. France, by far the better team, with finishing their chances but Argentina's defense was just atrocious. When you have so much firepower and you want to keep the possession on the other teams side then logically you put players who are going to be a threat up front. Argentina should have brought in Aguero and Dybala at half. That would have kept the pressure on France. The better managed team won! We will cheer for the French now as it is the team that knocked out our team. Messi was still brilliant with two assists and really doing his best but this team is just not disciplined at all around him. The other matchup saw Uruguay just dominate Portugal. Portugal could not get through Uruguay's defense at all which led Ronaldo being invisible in this game. Mbappe is just amazing and so is Uruguay's front line. This qf will be amazing.
